A very enjoyable evening away. Great room with plenty of space. Lovely building and furniture throughout.

My credit card was used as a booking for me and my 2 colleagues with the understanding that when my colleagues gave their credit card details the 3 rooms would be charged separately this was not the case I was charged for the 3 rooms on my credit card after we explained this more than once to reception I travel quite extensively and this is not acceptable in 2019 this has messed up 3 company accounts

Room was clean and tidy, bar prices were very high.

It was very welcoming and the staff were keen to please. They had time to chat and were knowledgeable when asked certain questions. The only aspect I did not like was being woken at 11.00pm to be told that had not paid for my Dinner that evening, which in fact I had. However, I did receive a full apology the following morning.

Was there when there were several large functions and there were NO options to dine other than room service. They should at least carve out a small area to be able to accommodate other guests or warn you when you check in so you are aware and can make other plans. Also had some erroneous charges on my bill that I will have to call them about.. unfortunately I didn't catch when I checked out.
